The next stage…

2008 sees the next important phase of Pioneer’s development, with the formation of a new dedicated healthcare specialist; Pioneer agreed transfer of engagement terms with Exeter Friendly Society, a private medical insurer, when asked to the vote, policyholders voted overwhelmingly in favour of the alliance.

Crucially, the new organisation will maintain its mutual status and focus on continual development. Policyholders will benefit not only by increased assurance and financial strength, but also access to a wider product range and the potential of exciting new product enhancements.

The Pioneer brand will continue as a trading name of Exeter Friendly Society.
